The problem

Most businesses don’t have bad IT. They have unowned IT.

Nothing here is dramatic on its own. Together they are why a twelve-person office loses a morning to a mail outage, or finds out its backups stopped in March.

  1. Nobody owns your IT

The bookkeeper resets passwords, a friend-of-a-friend set up the server, and the printer is everyone’s problem.

  2. You only hear from IT when it breaks

Reactive support means you pay for outages twice: once to fix them, once in lost productivity.

  3. Security is assumed, not verified

MFA is ‘probably on’. Backups are ‘probably running’. Nobody has checked a restore in a year.

  4. Licences quietly overspend

Staff leave, licences stay. Most environments we review are paying for seats nobody uses.

  5. There is no plan, only purchases

Hardware gets replaced when it dies, which is always at the worst possible time.

Why Truxel

What you get with Truxel

Five differencesevery client, every month

Vendor neutral, always

We’re not tied to any vendor or product. We recommend what fits your business, even when it earns us less.

A partner, not a reseller

Qualified engineers who learn your environment and stay with it, so you’re not explaining it again on every call.

Flexible and reliable

Clear response times in every agreement, a track record of meeting them, and services that scale up or down as your business changes.

Security you can evidence

Essential Eight aligned controls, documented and reportable, which helps when insurers or clients ask.

Better for the bottom line

Licences right-sized, hardware replaced on a plan instead of in a panic, and upcoming costs flagged before they land.

How it works

Four steps from unowned to managed. The review is free, and the findings are yours to keep.

  1. ~45 minutes

    Free environment review

We audit what you have: devices, licences, security posture, backups and the gaps between them. You get the findings whether or not you sign.

  2. 3 business days

A plan and a fixed price

A written proposal covering what we’ll manage, what it costs per user per month, and what we’d fix in the first 90 days. No lock-in surprises.

  3. 2–4 weeks

    Onboarding

We deploy monitoring and security, document your environment, migrate what needs migrating and clean up the licence sprawl, with minimal disruption.

  4. Ongoing

    Ongoing management

Day-to-day support, patching, monitoring and backups run continuously, with regular reviews covering renewals, risks and what to budget for next.

FAQs

Questions we get asked

How quickly do you respond to support requests?

Critical issues affecting your whole business are picked up first, and standard requests are typically actioned the same day. Response targets are written into your agreement.

Do we have to sign a long contract?

No. We work on a rolling month-to-month basis after an initial onboarding period. If we’re not doing a good job, you shouldn’t need a contract to keep you.

What size businesses do you work with?

Any size. We work with businesses from a handful of staff to large multi-site teams, and we support data centres directly. If a managed agreement isn’t the right fit for you, we’ll say so.

Can you work with our existing IT person or provider?

Yes. Some clients keep an internal IT staff member for day-to-day requests and use us for security, infrastructure and escalation. We can also co-manage during a transition from another provider.

What is the Essential Eight and do we need it?

The Essential Eight is a set of eight baseline mitigation strategies published by the Australian Cyber Security Centre. It isn’t mandatory for most private businesses, but it’s the clearest benchmark available, and increasingly what cyber insurers and enterprise clients ask you to demonstrate.

Do you provide onsite support?

Yes. Most issues are resolved remotely within minutes, and we attend onsite for hardware faults, network work, office moves and new site setups. We’re Melbourne-based and work nationally.

What happens to our data if we leave?

It’s yours. We hand over documentation, admin credentials and access to your tenant and systems. There are no exit fees and we don’t hold your environment hostage.

If yours isn’t here, ask us directly.
